Massage Reflection is open for business.  As concerns and precautions continue to grow amongst the spread of the COVID-19 Coronavirus, I wanted to take the opportunity to address how this impacts your upcoming massage schedule.

First and foremost, I want to assure you that the health and cleaning standards at my office meet and exceed the state requirements for a massage establishment. Because I am the only person who does the cleaning for my office, I know precisely what is being cleaned and how often. There is nothing being overlooked or missed, because I am the first and last person to clean everything.  Massage Reflection is open for business.

In addition to the high cleaning standards already in place, all surfaces at Massage Reflection are now being deep cleaned and disinfected on a nightly basis (including the lobby, restroom, end tables, chairs, rugs, floors, counters, doorknobs, light switches, etc.).  Additional disinfectant cleaning to headrests, doorknobs, and all surfaces in the treatment room is also taking place between client sessions.  As such, I ask that you remain in the lobby waiting room until being called back for your appointment.

I want to reassure that your health and safety are being guarded at the highest level.

In all circumstances, it is mandatory that you should not get a massage if you're not feeling well,  and particularly if you have a fever.  Please cancel your appointment if you meet the any of the following criteria:

  • Fever, any type of cough, or shortness of breath, sore throat, abnormal fatigue

  • Recently traveled to a high-risk country: China, Iran, Italy, Japan, and South Korea. Note: This country list is updated regularly by the CDC. Visit their website to see details

  • Exposed to someone diagnosed with Coronavirus

For more information on the Coronavirus and you can protect yourself, I invite you to visit the Center of Disease and Control Prevention at: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html

My cancellation fees are flexible for illness. Reach out to me about your concerns well before your scheduled session. It’s unfortunate when I must turn away an appointment because a client was uninformed. If you wake up feeling ill, please contact me by phone, text or email to cancel. Don't put yourself, others, or your therapist at risk. When in doubt, please reach out!!

Regardless of the circumstance, I reserve and will utilize my right to refuse a massage service if I feel there is a risk to myself and my other clients. Your personal safety, my safety and the safety of others is paramount.  All appointments can be rescheduled if you are not feeling well.

I encourage you to practice safe infection controls methods as well. The CDC recommends the following:

•           Avoid close contact with people who are sick.

•           Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.

•           Stay home when you are sick.

•           Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.

•           Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.

If you have any questions, concerns or feedback on the above information please email info@massagereflection.com and I will be happy to get back to you at the end of my working day. Communication during this pandemic is of the utmost importance. I am here to safeguard your health at every level within my office.

Thank you for being a valued Massage Reflection client.
